Watch TV Online

I was told I could watch US Television online?

Does anyone know where I can watch US Tv online, for such programmes as 24, Desperate House Wives etc.... I was told that there is such a site which shows episodes in a 'Catch up format', but for the life of me I cant find it. Does anyone know of any decent sites, that will play online in the UK?

Unfortunately, Aol, yahoo, hulu and most sites noted by other answer don't work in UK. first 2 the best, surfthechannel tells you when new episodes have been added and gives you episode summary. The all give you link to other host sites and you can choose which links suit you best. Some take longer to buffer that others,and quality varies, but most are good. Tudou and Sina take you onto the next episode automatically. The only down side is I'm now too far ahead to catch up on British tv, that I rely on to watch certain shows! Enjoy!
7. just go to ovguide (http://www.OVGuide.com/index1.html) and you'll find all the links that work outside of the US. some sites like hulu and veoh don't work but the majority of others do.
8. Check out http://www.GRAB0lD.com I recently moved to Costa Rica, and it still works here. I actually travel a lot, and it has no 'blackout' areas. If you have the bandwidth, it'll work.
