Is there a service to watch tv shows online?
I have DSL and I don't want to pay $30 a month for cable tv. Is there a way to watch tv using my broadband connection? I already know about craftytv.com, but I am looking for a selection of tv channels, not prerecorded shows. I'd be willing to pay $20 or less.

- Yes, they do have have things like that, but you can go buy programs that allow you to watch tv from an broadband connection. You can buy them from Best Buy and other computer stores.
- Nope, nothing of this sort so far. I am sure any of the channels (I'm assuming you mean national and regional TV channels) have not started any live streams. You can get some indy channels made by amateurs on Winamp but they are bad.
- www.todito.com offers a good channel in Spanish www.tvexe.com gives you a lot of international channels for very low one time fee. I use it for the BBC World and for Music videos. Many channels in English. No technical problems. Quality of most channels is lower that what you would expect with cable, but you may find some good channels
- iTunes now offers 10-12 shows for download the next day. For $2 you can watch Law&Order, Commander in Chief, Lost, Desperate Housewives, The Office, and lots more...
