How can I watch uk tv online for free from abroad?

I moved to canada recently and would like to watch tv online like I did at home. How do i do this? Do i need to change my ip and is this safe?

From what i know you cant, you can try and use a proxy IP but that just works for web browsers and not very well from what i have seen, most online TV that you can get in the UK you need to download software or install plug-ins on your browser and it is those plug-ins and software programs that identify your location. PS if you have a TV licence with the BBC i think you can access BBC content using your licence, but i am not 100% sure about that, check it out.

5. most tv shows have been put on the internet; there are many websites to choose from and they work quite well! i recommend: www.surfthechannel.com www.tvduck.com and there are some more, but these are my favourites! you just look for whatever tv show you want, and they will most likely have it, and every episode so far of that show! some tv channels also have episodes on their websites, like www.mtv.com for example. hope this helps! :)
6. You cannot. Broadcasters do what they can to prevent their domestic content being watched abroad.
7. I think you can watch UK TV channels on the internet. For instance, you can watch BBC on some free online TV websites. You can have a look at Best Free Web TV which provides a list of free online multilingual TV channels.
